Data Deletion Instructions

Squad is a platform operated by Caast to manage micro-influence campaigns. This page explains how to request the deletion of your data, including any data obtained through the Meta Platform (Facebook and Instagram).

How to request deletion

Send an email to privacy@caast.tv with the subject "Data deletion request", including:

  1. your name and the email or Instagram/Facebook account concerned;
  2. a short confirmation that you request the deletion of your data.

No account on Squad is required to make a request.

What we delete

  1. Any Instagram/Facebook data we hold about you: Direct Message content and metadata, conversation threads, and profile information obtained via the instagram_basic, pages_read_engagement and instagram_manage_messages permissions;
  2. your account data (name, email) and campaign records that identify you, unless we are legally required to retain specific records.

Timeline

We acknowledge requests within 72 hours and complete deletion within 30 days, then confirm by email. Backups are purged on their normal rotation cycle.

Removing the connection yourself

You can also revoke Squad's access at any time from your Meta account: Settings → Security and login / Apps and Websites, then remove "Caast Influence for Admins". Revoking access stops any further processing; to also delete previously stored data, send the request above.
